Have to admit this...

I have realized the following:

1. I can easily picture and put into words what I want my reader to visualize.
2. I CANNOT draw the same scene to save my life! ><

For the last few months, I have been trying to draw the scenes I created in my Kim Possible fanfics, and I still can't do it. *argh!!* Even when the character is STANDING THERE DOING NOTHING!! Makes me wish I'd spent my childhood drawing instead of playing video games. ><

Well, since this is supposed to be an "artistic progress" blog, I guess I should start by posting the sites where I can be found:

I'm also on a few others, but those are the only ones I feel comfortable sharing right now. I will say that if you see a user by the name of AmericanGecko, it's probably me.

If you notice, right now I'm on a serious Kim Possible kick. The FF.net site is getting the majority of my attention right now, but hopefully I'll soon have some pics up at DevArt.

Purpose

Okay, so this is a new blog, and basically it's gonna deal with my progress artistically...and maybe a little of my own personal life if I feel called to share. The basic idea here is that I plan to track my abilities in the following areas:

• writing - both fan fiction and original

• art - from sketch to end (if called, this may head into the more controversial pieces that might get rejected elsewhere).
  

Other stuff may pop up as well, but the main focus of this is as an art blog.
